Caylee Cory
Director of Operations
Hello! I'm Caylee, I'm really excited to be serving as the director of operations at the Greatests Film Club. My journey into filmmaking began in middle school with my schools A/V Club. From there I knew I wanted to pursue this dream for film. Unfortunately I was met with more hurdles than successes, but my dedication to my craft kept me going. I then met Assad my freshman year of high school, he furthered me in my filmmaking journey by making me assistant director on a few of his projects. I was given the chance to explore my creativity, learn technical skills, and ultimately, learn to tell a story through film. I bring my experience in organization, cinematography, and production to the table, ensuring that our club members get a well-rounded education in the art and craft of filmmaking.

Making films is an all-time passion of mine. Growing up, movies were my escape from reality, my way of immersing myself in a different world. I found inspiration and a sense of belonging within film. There were no outlets to capitalize on my filmmaking dreams, let alone any environment to interact with like-minded people, also interested in film. I created TGFC where these individuals could come together and make something truly beautiful. This club welcomes film enthusiasts from all walks of life. Whether you're an avid fan, a filmmaker, or simply hold a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling, The Greatests: Film Club offers a safe space where you can connect with fellow filmmakers who share your passion.

One of the things I'm most proud of is the sense of community we've built within the club. It's not just about making movies; it's about working together, supporting each other, and celebrating each other's successes. Whether it's through workshops, screenings, or collaborative projects, every member of our club has the opportunity to shine.
I'm passionate about connecting our members with the wider film community. We organize trips to film festivals, bring in guest speakers from the industry, and participate in local events whenever we can. It's all about giving our students a taste of the real world of filmmaking and helping them build the connections they'll need to succeed. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to advise this club and to help shape the next generation of filmmakers. Seeing the passion and creativity of our members never fails to inspire me, and I can't wait to see where their cinematic dreams take them.
